REGISTRATION DATES: October 27 – December 4, 2003 TIME: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Community Recreation Center 1007 S. 3rd Street COST: $35.00 residents, $40.00 non-residents AGE: 7 – 17 STARTING DATE Mid January Avondale’s Junior Sun’s/Mercury Youth Co-ed Basketball program emphasize fundamental skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive adult participation with the goal of providing a fun and rewarding youth basketball experience where young players can create a bond with the game while also learning what it takes to be successful in life. The league is open to boys and girls ages 7 – 17; league age is determined as of January 17, 2004. Games to be played at Agua Fria High School and Collier Elementary. Teams are formed on a geographic basis. Games start early January. REGISTRATION (MONDAY – FRIDAY 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.) BEGINS OCTOBER 27, 2003 AND RUNS THROUGH DECEMBER 4, 2004 AT THE AVONDALE COMMUNITY CENTER (1007 S. 3RD STREET). REGISTRATION WILL ALSO BE HELD ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 15th AT THE COMMUNITY SERVICE BUILDING 9:00 A.M – 12:00 P.M. THIRTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($35.00) FOR AVONDALE RESIDENTS, $40.00 FOR NON-RESIDENTS. LEAGUE FEES INCLUDES REVERSIBLY JERSEYS, TICKETS TO A SUNS GAME, OFFICIALS, FACILITIES AND AWARDS. MUST HAVE A COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE WHETHER YOU ARE A NEW OR RETURNING PLAYER! COACHES NEEDED!
