AVONDALE'S TRIBUTE TO THE VETERANS
Full Description:
On the coming November 11, the community of Avondale will come together to give tribute to the veterans of the Armed Forces.
This year’s event will feature special guests and guest speakers, an F-16 flyover from Luke Air Force Base, the Luke Air Force Base Honor Guard, the Palm Valley Elementary School Choir, Phoenix Scottish bagpipes and more. The National Anthem will be performed by Ms. Jan Petrie and Mr. Todd Bevins will perform TAPS. Guests will also have an opportunity to view the most recent installation of engraved bricks at the Veterans Memorial Walk of Honor.
Bring lawn chairs and blankets.
The celebration will begin at 10:00 am at the Avondale Civic Center Amphitheatre.
